Course Description

Students will learn the basics of graphic design skills through practical, hands-on assignments using industry-standard software. Learners will explore a couple of different avenues for graphic design: business-oriented skills, such as creating logos and brochures, and creative design skills, such as illustration and cartoon character creation.'

Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC* Software is supplied for students within Sun West School Division and full-time Distance Learning Centre students. Schools in other divisions will need to make arrangements for software for their students. Older versions of these programs are acceptable.
