The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture is sending two Saskatchewan students and their teachers/mentors, all expenses paid, to represent the province at the Global Youth Institute from October 17 to 20, 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa!
Selected students will interact with Nobel and World Food Prize Laureates and discuss pressing food security and agricultural issues with international experts. Students from around the world will connect, tour cutting-edge industrial and research facilities, and take part in symposium discussions with global leaders in science, industry and policy.
Eligibility: Saskatchewan students currently in grades 8 to 11, with a keen interest in agriculture and food security.
Application deadline is May 1, 2018.
