I received my Bachelor of Education at the University of Regina, and have been teaching for the past 12 years. I’ve taught a variety of grades and subjects both in the classroom and online from grade 3 to grade 8 as well as Food Studies 30, Leadership 20 and Leadership 30.
I teach because I enjoy working with people and am motivated to help students achieve success in their learning. I enjoy teaching classes that teach life skills, where students are able to take away what they learned in a class and apply it to their own daily lives.
A few fun facts about me:
I’ve completed three half marathons, and numerous 5km and 10km races.
I enjoy working with students on Student Leadership Council.
My favourite food is ice cream.
My family has miniature ponies at our farm.
I’m double jointed in my right thumb.
And I love to travel! The farthest place that I have travelled is Tanzania. Where I went on a volunteer trip to help build a school library.
