I received my BEd in Health and Social Studies from the University of Regina. I have spent the past 11 years as a classroom teacher in Davidson Sask, teaching all grades from 6-12 and a variety of different subjects. This is my first year at the DLC.
There is nothing more rewarding that being a part of students’ lives, watching them achieve goals and make connections to learning.
For my entire teaching career, I have been coaching volleyball and variety of other sports. I am very proud of all my teams and have great memories of taking both Sr. Boys and Sr. Girls volleyball teams on to become Provincial Bronze Medalists and Gold Medal Winners. I also enjoy coaching Track, Cross Country Running and Badminton. I just really love to be part of a team.
I grew up on a mixed grain and cattle farm, raising and showing horses, and following the rodeo circuit as a barrel racer. And now, my son Kade, has begun his rodeo career as a team roper.
I worked for the Department of Highways as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 3 years.
I love to play and watch hockey in the winter and go camping and fishing in the summer.
