I completed my Education degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2010, with a focus on Practical & Applied Arts. Since 2011, I have taught a variety of high school PAA classes in Kenaston School and the Distance Learning Centre: computer drafting, construction/carpentry, welding, communication media, and photography. In the past, I have worked in the cabinetmaking and construction industry.

In high school, I became quite interested in the Practical and Applied Arts – specifically carpentry and computer drafting. I had very positive experiences in those classes, so it made my decision easy to choose this as an area to teach. I enjoyed the hands-on aspect the most, and as a teacher it is very rewarding to see students learn new skills and create unique projects. As an online teacher, it is my goal to try and make the courses as interesting and practical as possible – and potentially help students get a head start to a viable career in a skilled trade.

I have an identical twin brother.
