Course Description

As technology becomes integrated into almost every aspect of today's society, there is a growing need for learners to have basic technology skills and to be comfortable accessing and navigating the internet.

Learners are introduced to various types of hardware, and several common software applications. Through a series of assignments, learners will apply their newfound word processing and database skills. They will also learn how to be safe and responsible while seeking out and sharing information online.
